This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Smyk Makeup ("we", "us", "I") collects when you visit smykmakeup.com, create an account, book an appointment, buy a course, or sign up for emails, and how that information is used.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account sign-up: name, email address, password (stored by our platform provider, not visible to us) and, if you provide it, phone number.
- Bookings: first and last name, email, phone number, appointment details, and any message you add. For some services, address details may be requested.
- Payments: deposits and course purchases are processed by our payment provider(s) through our website platform. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Newsletter/email sign-up: your email address.
- Contact forms, chat and email: whatever you choose to send us.
- Consultations: information you share during a free online (video) consultation, which may include photos you send us and information about your skin or health relevant to the procedure.
Information collected automatically
- Optional analytics and ads measurement: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is active; Meta Pixel is planned but not active yet. They load only if you accept cookies in the banner, and share visit information such as page views, device and browser details, approximate location and referring pages, and clicks on booking, consultation and contact links, with Google (and Meta once active) for analytics and ads measurement. No booking or uploaded photo details are sent. You can change your choice any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
- Platform and security data: Lovable hosts this website; Wix runs member accounts and bookings. Technical data and necessary storage support security and your login session. Only anonymous, hashed abuse-prevention counters are stored for the AI brow try-on.
2. How we use your information
AI brow try-on: If you choose to use it (18+ only), your selfie is sent to xAI (the Grok Imagine model that edits the image) or to Lovable (AI gateway) and Google (its image model) only to create your brow preview. To keep your eyes and lashes exactly as they are, your own browser finds where your brows are (face-landmark detection runs on your device; this step sends nothing anywhere) and keeps only the new brows from the AI image. This site does not store your selfie. If you choose “Attach to my consultation”, we keep only that preview, your style and shade choices and any note, linked to your account, in private storage that only Nataliia can open, and delete it automatically 30 days after you attach it. You can remove it yourself any time or email bookings@smykmakeup.com. Previews are never used for marketing. Providers may keep request records for a limited time for security and troubleshooting under their own terms. Only anonymous, hashed counters are kept to limit use to 3 previews per day.
- To create and manage your account and give you access to member pages and online courses.
- To schedule, confirm, remind you of, and manage appointments, and to take deposits and payments.
- To communicate with you about your booking, consultation, course or questions.
- To send marketing emails (news, offers) if you signed up; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.
- To understand how the website is used and measure advertising only if you accept optional cookies.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights (for example, records of bookings and payments).
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, including:
- Wix.com (website hosting, member accounts, Wix Bookings, Wix Pricing Plans/online programs, forms, email marketing, chat, contact management);
- Lovable (website hosting and AI gateway; Lovable Cloud database for anonymous, hashed abuse-prevention counters and for brow previews you choose to attach to your consultation);
- xAI (Grok Imagine image model, to create AI brow previews, only if you use the AI brow try-on);
- Google (Gemini image model, via Lovable, to create AI brow previews, only if you use the AI brow try-on);
- payment processors connected to our website for deposits and purchases ;
- Google (Google Analytics 4) and Meta (Meta Pixel), only with your cookie consent and when configured;
- authorities, if required by law.
4. Cookies
Necessary storage supports your login session with Wix and remembers your cookie choice, its date, and the notice and options shown. Optional analytics and marketing scripts (GA4 and Meta Pixel) load only after you accept in the cookie banner and only when configured. Nothing optional loads by default. Accept and Reject have equal weight. Open “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choice or withdraw consent; your current choice stays in effect until you select a new one. An earlier acceptance record is preserved when you withdraw. You can also block cookies in your browser.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account, booking and payment records for as long as your account is active and as needed for our business, tax and legal obligations . You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see section 7).

You can: access or update your account information; ask for a copy or deletion of your personal information; unsubscribe from marketing emails; withdraw cookie consent. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. To make a request, email bookings@smykmakeup.com. We may need to verify your identity.
8. Children
Our services and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Security
We rely on our platform and payment providers' security measures (encrypted connections, secure payment processing). No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
